Popular Nigerian singer, Simi has said she never intended to marry an artiste.
Featuring in a recent episode of the ‘Tea With Tay’ podcast, the 35-year-old songstress opened up about how she met Adekunle Gold, her husband
Simi said she initially thought Gold was just a fan hoping to connect with her on Facebook
She went on to say that she met her husband as a graphics designer and had no idea “he was singing
“When I first met my husband, I did not know he was singing. Because I already said I cannot marry a singer. He used to do this King of Photoshop. I have never heard him sing up till that time. I think he was even a fan,” she said
“He had sent me a message on Facebook. I never saw it. I still have not replied. I sensed that it was him that would be good for me.
Simi got married to Adekunle Gold in 2019
