Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State, on Thirsday in an interview with ARISE NEWS, debunked accusations from his opponent, Olajide “Jandor” Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party, of his involvement with political godfathers.
On Wednesday, Adediran spoke in an interview with ARISE NEWS on his concerns on the issue of godfatherism in robbing the people of the opportunity to choose their leaders and went further to accuse Rhodes-Vivour, of having deals with godfathers to ensure his position as the next Governor of Lagos State.
Rhodes-Vivour, in response to this, denounced the accusations as “propaganda and lies”. When asked about his relationship with “Jandor”, and if any effort or discussion had been put in place to resolve what may seem like a political feud to cause distractions, the political aspirant stated that he had no plans to do so.
He also questioned the integrity of the PDP candidate saying that he was in fact the one involved with godfathers in politics, describing his integrity as “full of desperation” and his words as “watery”.
